Corgi Destroys Every Toy!!!

My corgi was a toy killer as well. He loved his squeaky toys and would kill them in very short order. Once they were “dead” to noise, it would take him a while to gut them, but every now and then one would show up spread around the apt. I just adopted a Boston x Chihuahua that is 1.5-2 years old and want to get him some harder chew toys as he’s taken to chewing on the foot of my desk chair when I’m on the computer ( and the corners of my wooden folding clothes rack). He scarfs his food, so no real chewing being done, but he loves his carrot squeaker…

Has anyone tried the tuffy toys? https://www.vipproducts.com/retail/files/index.php/categories/view/27/tuffys-pet-toys

My boyfriend’s mom got my dog one for Christmas and it seems pretty strong. It has 4 layers of material and 4 layers of stitching (2 layers of 600D luggage material). My dog is NOT that hard on her toys anymore, but she’s been known to destroy at times. She really likes this one though. Anyway, they have a bunch of different tuffy toys and all have durability ratings. The one we have is a 7 and it’s stronger than any other stuffed toy I’ve bought. I don’t know how it would hold up to a super strong chewer, but the ones with the highest durability ranking might be worth trying.

My dogs love the antlers too and they last quite a long time. I agree with getting the round ones not the ones cut in half.My dog(30 lb mini aussie) luckily does not destroy her toys, but my sis’s cairn and her shepherd mix have been known to shred toys to kill the squeaker. We say no when they look like they are starting the shredding process and lately no toys have died.
