Just curious what others are paying for their vaccinations. We usually get EEE, WEE, Rhinopneumonitis, Influenza, West Nile, Tetanus and Rabies. I am finding cost has gone up from last year.

I paid $150 for all the above mentioned vaccines, plus coggins.
I paid $130 last year for what you listed. Cost was for vaccinations only, no health cert, and no farm call fee as there were a number of horses getting services at the same time.
I happen to have my most recent bill with me. Vet visit was on 4/17 and I paid the following:
Coggins $35
Calvenza Flu/Rhino $28
EE/WE/TT/West Nile $48
Strangles intra-nasal $27
Fecal test $34
I do Rabies in the fall so I’m not sure how much that is off the top of my head.
It would run me about $298.35 here. (The vaccines are purchased through Untied Vet Equine as they have some of the best prices and shipping available. The vaccines have always been shipped next day air.)
This includes:
3x Vetera Gold XP (This covers EHV, EIV, Tetanus, WNV, EEE, and WEE.) (3 doses to keep up with the high infection rates in the area. So one dose every 4 months. Each vial is orders when needed.)
1x Dose of Botvax B (Because of round bale use.)
1x Potomavac (PHF has found it’s way to FL unfortunately.)
1x Strangles vaccine
1x Equirab (I buy it and the vet administers it so that I can get a health cert.)
I can do all of the other vaccines myself as I am trained to do it so it does save on a vet call or two, but I’m very careful when doing it and space them out a bit and switch which side of the neck I use for each vaccine.
My bill for those particular vaccines only (I had more work done as well) is:
5-way E/W/T/FLU/RHINO $67
West Nile $47
Rabies $47
Total: $161/ No Farm Call
I would be very interested to hear from the Canadian Cothers. I paid quite a bit more than what has been listed.
I’m in the US and vaccinating 3 horses cost me $449 (~$549 Canadian).
Rabies $28 each (~$34 Canadian)
EWT/WNV $51 each (~$62 Canadian)
Farm call $95 (~116 Canadian)
Exam $39 each (~$47 Canadian)
My vet is probably one of the best in the state, and he travels an hour and a half to get here.
