Quick update on Sonic: I haven’t heard him cough since Thursday, and he’s definitely acting less quiet! He wants out of his crate, but I want to keep him in it a few more days, until we can get another x-ray and make sure the doxy is, or isn’t, doing the job. He did appreciate the catnip toy I gave him. Poor guy.

Not quite yet - he has either 1 or 2 days left of the doxy, but I haven’t heard him cough AT ALL since last Friday! I called the vet today, and they said that as long as he’s not coughing, they don’t think we need to run more x-rays; if he starts again after going off the doxy, of course, bring him in, but he’s bright-eyed, vocal, eating, and generally happy, so I’m hopeful the doxy is getting the job done.

Well, Day 7 of the doxy was last night, so this morning - no coughing since Friday! - Sonic got out of his crate! Really hoping that this did the trick.
