Country Manufacturing Horse Stall Kits

Hello,

I am in the process of building an 11 stall barn. I have yet to order my stall fronts. I was wondering if anyone has bought and installed the Country Manufacturing Horse Stall Kits.

If so are you happy with them? Would you buy them again? Did you go with Painted, or Galvanized? Its hard to beat their prices.

Thanks!

I used their galvanized stalls (add your own wood) in a 4 stall barn I built in 2003. They were easy to install and looked good, but ultimately did not hold up well for my big guys. The channels the wood slides into were easily bent by horses leaning against the sides of the stalls. More than once I had to replace boards which had been pushed out of the channels, complicated by having to try to straighten the bent metal (which of course never went back to ‘normal’). They’re inexpensive for a reason.

We had a local metal shop make our U channels from 9 gauge steel plate (5/32ths thick) … it was the heaviest grade their metal break could bend… the channels we got were eight foot…cost was $3 each… no shipping as all that was needed was to go get them (well that cost about $10 in gas and time)
