County Models

Hello all,

Well I’ve been scouring the internet and can’t seem to find a good answer for this question, so I turn to my fellow dressage riders!

I used to own a County Competitor which I adored, but it was my only experience with the County brand. I sold the saddle years ago, and I’m now in the market for another saddle, but I don’t know what the major differences are between the various County models (Competitor, Connection, Perfection, etc.).

Can anyone give me some insight into this? Any County experts out there?

Thanks!

The competitor and connection are the same saddle, but the connection has upgraded leather. Im not familiar with the other dressage models.

I love county saddles!

Dappled - I sent you PM. I have a Competitor in excellent condition for sale.

The Perfection and the Fusion are very similar if not the same. The Fusion, like the Connection, has buffalo leather. The seats are deep and the panels are gusseted.
The Competitors have panels that are more upswept even when they are gusseted.
The very old Competitors aren’t gusseted. The Warmblood is a discontinued model that doesn’t have as large of a block as a Competitor.
The Competitor Series II has gusseted panels that aren’t as upswept.
The twist tends to be medium to narrow.
