I’m looking for information on pricing for new county saddles. I have a rep coming out the 23rd. I’m buying a jump saddle, def going to try the monoflap. I’m wondering what they typically go for new…I’m assuming anywhere from $4k to $6k?
I paid $4650. Got the upgraded leather tho.
If they have the saddle you want as a demo, you can get a substantial discount by buying the demo.
We have been very happy with our County saddles.
That’s about accurate; depends on the model you buy. Great saddles… if you’re long-legged, go for the 18" seat – they’re hard to find used and resell for a lot more as a result.
Wow…bought a County Despri around 1999-2000 for $1695. Haven’t looked in a while…last time I did, they were $2200. Mine’s an 18 inch…must take care of that puppy. It has spent about 13 years of that time being a tack room ornament. But it’s going out to the barn this week for a wakeup. Have been using my all-purpose bought for another horse.
When I talked to the rep at Rolex, she said the monoflap was estimated to start at around $5K not including any upgrades.
A new Innovation will run ~$4K.
I paid around $3500 for my Conquest in 2013, but kept it pretty simple. No fancy leather (which I was fine with). I did get removable blocks (so glad I did because I rode with the blocks for about 5 minutes, hated them, and they’ve stayed in my tack box ever since).
I’m with BasqueMom: paid $1800 for my County Eventer back in 2000 and have been shocked by how much the prices have gone up since! When I bought mine, I was looking for a “saddle of a lifetime,” and, boy, I’ll be hanging on to it, for sure! I do love my Eventer.
