What does Coupe de Coure mean? Does anyone know? I love how that sounds when said out loud[/QUOTE]
it is spelled “coup de coeur” and having a “coup de coeur” for something means finding the said thing totally awesome. You can then say you had a “coup de coeur” for a puppy or an expensive bridle to justify an impulsive purchase.
French women often come home telling their husband "It’s not my fault honey, I had a “coup de coeur” looking down at the super expensive new pair of shoes…
I don’t think there is any equivalent in English to a “coup de coeur”… but I could be wrong.
Amandine
“coup de coeur”
Thanks for the addition to my vocabulary! I need this term 'cause it happens to me all the time.
I think it sort of translates to “Full of Heart”. So, that would go along with what Amandine said, like someone could be “full of heart” about a puppy, and just have to have it.
Not 100% sure, though, but I do know some French!
You are quite right. I got my “'arcos” mixed up!
Couldn’t open the Facebook link, since I’m :eek: not a member.
As for the allergies,…I haven’t stopped sneezing since I got home. Seriously bad allergy season down here. And now, after all the rain we had, we have lovely mold to add to the mix. Peachy. :dead:
Coupe De Couer is on my calendar with Rene Tebbel:lol::yes:
Coupe de Coeur
COUPE DE COEUR is by Calido I out of a Lincoln mother. He became Beerbaum’s ride last year.
