Courtney is now 3rd behind Heike and Imke. I lost my connection and missed Courtney’s ride, but I saw Imke’s ride and wasn’t hugely impressed. The mare had her tongue out, for one thing.

OH you know those German and Dutch judges won’t let the Gold or silver ever be in question! At least not that easily!
Courtney did an amazing job. Great ride and really handled the pressure of riding in her first Olympics well.

Courtney’s score was 70.417… Imke was 70.8something. I saw both rides and agree with Theo - Courtney had the better performance overall.
Courtney now bumped down to 4th. Emma Hindle just scored 71.125 to move into 2nd place behind Heike.
