Cowgirl Cadillacs Horse Sale

This looks like it’s going to be interesting. Found it off an ad on Craigslist for Willie, and followed the info around to the home page.

Willie is a Cutie! and that first Palomino mare, Bling, IS A CHUNK!!

I know I’m not bidding, but it will be nice to watch.

Kind of an odd collection of horses, huh? Ranchy QHs, Gypsy Vanners, couple mules, some draft crosses. This cute little mare listed as roan who is definitely going grey? The “Frisian” looks to be Freisian x QH x Perch?

It’s an interesting angle! “Cowgirl Cadillacs is an invitation-only sale featuring classy, gentle, fancy-broke horses from female consignors.”

It is an odd mix of horses for sale. The palomino mare is beefy. She looks like a female body builder on steroids.

Think the mare is a blue roan.

Not with that head. Roans are dark headed. And her head is obviously darker in the pic with the two women up. She might be both, but it’s pretty clear she’s going grey. And her sire was grey.

She is a little chunk… but still quite cute (to my untrained for reining eye) - https://vimeo.com/149557308 .

Very nice! The Zip line is awesome!

I didn’t look at anything else, but with that mares breeding, she could very well have been born blue roan. Roans born with the gray gene are often hard to spot until they are a couple years old. I like the looks of her a lot. A friend of mine had a Pepto bred horse and he was worth his weight in gold!

Zips Chocolate Chip and Winchester on the bottom! Could be a nice little horse even if they’re both back a couple generations .

Some years ago neigbor’s teenager spent a summer starting colts in Jackson Hole, WY.
Many of those were Peptoboonsmal colts.
He said most were the born broke kind, just get on and show them what you want, wonderful dispositions.

The good thing is, with all their talent that an open rider can go win with, they were not hot, but quiet, kind and gentle enough for non-pros and juniors to show safely.

Sure, absolutely. And she’s a lovely little mare. But she’s obviously greying at this point

Sounds like George (Peptos Playboy). We didn’t know him as a young horse, but my daughter was supposed to show him in cutting at Congress in the 13 and under cutting but due to an idiot trainer over training him, he started running out so she had to catch ride another horse (and still placed 3rd). George definitely had a sense of fair play! He was a great horse for his next owner, treated everyone well if treated fairly. Carted her husband and kids around like a champ. Won lots of cuttings up here and played parade horse at the local STB track for my daughter and I like a star. He was quite enthralled watching the races and schmoozing with the public in the win circle.

I cried when I heard he had to be put down this fall.

I wonder how much they will sell for. I would be happy with any of them, except that 1st palomino mare, she is just too much. Not attractive at all, to me. Looks like she is on steroids.

I kept an eye on a recent ranch horse auction out west and liked the look of this guy… https://diamondsinthedesert.sale/harley/

I was surprised to find that he sold for $20,000 . Not saying he’s not worth it – somewhere there’s a video showing him under saddle and he’s foot perfect – but wow, QH’s do not sell for that kind of a price out here in the East, not without some fancy show results!

I’d love to see a video of her (previous one posted didn’t work on my phone) but I quite like her based off her pictures. Looks like she’d take up my long leg.

I want the pony Tina!
All my pony stuff will fit.
My welsh gelding would be in love…

Here are the results of a recent horse sale, to get an idea of how they are selling:

https://trianglehorsesales.net/sale-…gle-fall-sale/

Mozaun McKibben just sold a nice 7 year old palomino that does tricks for $36,200, topping the sale.
He had a video with him jumping in the back of the pickup, laying down, etc. etc.

Agreed. I’d have to be built way different to sit that.

Found her in the Triangle sale from last January. Number 248.

Follow up on this sale that I found when posting on another thread:

Friesian/QH cross ranch gelding sells for $225,000

Holy crap. I wish I could see the sales info they had on it. From the description it doesn’t sound like it has a show record.
Edited to say I found the sales video. Nice looking horse but I can’t understand the price tag?!?
