. . . not so crazy afterall. Real bargain at $200.00.
I hope he keeps on winning. Good story.
She doesn’t have the horse anymore and they told the new people exactly what his hole card is. What if she wanted him back again?
According to the comments (sure to be taken with a grain of salt), it doesn’t sound like he landed in such a positive barn. Good luck, Bobby. I’ve got no experience with the racing world, but claiming races have never sat well with me.

IKR - you have some recognizable success and everyone either thinks you are “using something” or just blatantly asks what you are doing to be so successful. Oh sure, these are the conclusions I’ve drawn after 40 years in the business…
Unless you have $50,000 to spend on a horse to get started, then you get started by claiming one.
And without claiming races there would be no horse racing. Although some tracks like Saratoga, Keeneland, and Churchill are raising purses, race purses are down, along with handles across the country. Read recently that CA tracks are in the same rut.
Most connections in the USA, don’t have the luxury of a Mott, Lukas, Baffert, Pletcher, etc, stable.
Like I said, I have no track experience, and probably could never cut it in racing, lol. I’m too much of a softy to pour myself into a horse and get it successful just to have someone be able to buy it out from under me because that’s simply the class the horse runs in. It makes the wheels turn, but so do a lot of other things that make the world go 'round that rub me the wrong way. Reality and idealism seldom coexist.
