Yep…after the Teddy Bear in Family Guy. Stewie didn’t fit. :lol:
First of all, those kittens are damn addorable.
Secondly, male orange kitties are the devil.
Whenever we introduce Bruzer to anyone we always have to have the disclaimer that even though EXTREMELY cute there is something wrong with him. He is CRAZY :lol: I have 4 orangies and 2 of the four (both males) are that way. It is just an orangie thing I think:winkgrin:
I give you crazy #2 and don’t let that sweet face fool you
Cashie:
I have friends with a cat that does this- when she first arrived it was real mice, drowned in the toliet. Over time (probably diminished the mouse population) it turned into toy mice dropped into the toliet.
Oh- and she is a tortie!
Well…since we’re showing off the orange men in our lives. :lol:
Here’s my 11 year old…Special Ed (Eddie)…He loves the kitten, should have named them Bert and Ernie.

Rupert looks just like my Ivan when he was little!

Our big gray cat used to drown toys in the water bowl on a regular basis, which was hilarious because he tried to be so dignified otherwise. Once in a while I find one in there now, but I’m not sure who does it.
Yes, I regularly have toys in the water bowl, too. And mice in the bathtub - either with or without water. If I’m filling the tub, one of them likes to fling a mouse and then bat it in the suds. I even had one crazy cat (a tortie) who liked to GET in the tub to play. As in fully in the tub, with water in it. I have photographic proof.
Due to the toy-in-water syndrome and also one traumatic experience at a camp, I NEVER use any toilet without looking into it first. Even in the middle of the night, the bathroom light goes on, and I have to inspect.
Traumatic experience involved a bullfrog. I was in one of the cabins in the woods at this camp. Middle of the day. Sat down on the throne, and something jumped UP and bumped my underside. I nearly hit orbit in my launch off that toilet. I was thinking snake. :eek: Nope, when I finally landed and turned to look, here was a massive bullfrog in the toilet.
But between that and one plumbing bill due to a toy mouse, I always look first, even in the safety of my non cabin-in-the-woods home. I try to conserve electricity and rarely use lights after dark, but I draw the line there. Full inspection with lights, even at 3:00 a.m. :yes:
:lol::lol::lol:
Did kitteh put the frog in the loo??

Every TIME I think Rupert, I thiink it in Stewie’s voice!

Same here. :lol::lol::lol::lol:
I have a female black tabby tuxedo (is certain light you can tell she’s got the tabby stripes), so not an orangie, but she will occasionally put things in the water bowl. Although it doesn’t ever seem like it’s on purpose. Usually she’s playing and either swipes it off the table or she drops it from the window sill. Ice cubes in the water bowl are full fascination though… she does the OMG something floating MUST TOUCH! Omg wet it’s wet :::shakes paw:::, want to touch, omg it’s wet :::shakes paw:::. Very amusing!
Although we now have a 6month old black lab so I much prefer kittens ice cube play that than the puppy who just dunks his mouth in and picks up an ice cube and walks off leaving massive trail of drool water. Rinse and repeat until all cubes removed or have melted.
:lol::lol:
My brown tabby (now a big 2yo man-cat) likes to drown his toy mice, too! In the water bowls, bathtub, toilet … those mice will all walk the plank! Glad he is not the only delinquent.
my little gwennie- she is 4 now, just did it again yesterday (well, it happens about 3 times a week). so no hope they will grow out of it!
Orangies are crazy??? My orangie is the best cat I’ve ever had! Don’t get me wrong, he’s extremely playful but he is also by far the most friendly cat I’ve ever met. And I’m so happy he chose me as his person! :yes:
I have to say, he doesn’t drop his toys in the water, but he has a fascination with anything else in the water. Ice cubes, dropped dog kibble, etc.
But, here’s my Charlie in his usual position…on my lap…

They are super sweet…that’s why I agreed to take this one. This one is kid tested and mom approved…My students take great joy in finding Rupert and playing with him…and he loves it. But they are different. :lol:
Both my crazy orangies are water fascinated. They LOVE to play in our jacuzzi bath tub and they spend alot of time there. We run the cold water just enough to create a light stream and they are entertained for hours :yes:
I have to admit that there is something very special about the orangies…I will only get the oranges ones from here on out :winkgrin:
