Creative "O" Name for Oldenburg Colt

My RIDSH mare, Baylie, is due to foal this March (her first and my first!):o and I’m in desperate need of some unique male “O” name ideas, (preferably one word) that aren’t taken. Vet said 75% chance at a colt. Girl names seem easier, but I’d love some of those too if you’re on a creative roll  My girl already jumps pretty well, so I bred for less tb body style and better dressage movement (among more criteria, obviously). Links and pics below:

Oswald: 1996, 17.1h, dark bay, KWPN stallion.
Approved ISR/Oldenburg, RPSI & AWR
Pedigree: Juventus x Rossini x Kommandeur

Maggie B Good (Baylie): 2001, 16h, blood bay
Registered and Approved Irish Draught Sport Horse-NA
Pedigree: Snowford Bellman x Slievenamon

Thanks so much, everyone! Take it easy on me… it’s my first breeding (haha) and I didn’t want to use my Banks Fee Daniel frozen without knowing how she took, hence my local (fresh) stallion choice.

Gimme time, I’ll think of more!

First off, you have a very beautiful mare! Lovely:)

First thing that came to my mind for colt names was Oskar. You can play with the spelling too. Osker, Oskaar, Ouskar. Otto, Oulette, Oliver…

Onota

Oswin

Also your mare is lovely!

I’ve always wanted one named Outstanding … “Stanley” for short. Ties in with O name and the “B Good” name.

Optimize, Okada, Occy (ah-key)

your mare is pretty

Omega

These are already so much better than what I was wracking my brain to come up with! :applause:

Opie

That was Ron Howard’s Charachter on the Andy Griffith Show… an American Classic.

When I had to come up with an ‘O’ name for my Holsteiner filly (by Cabaret), I named her Oolala.
Too feminine?

Ozymandias, although the story may make the name less than preferred

Ok, so this is a stretch, but -

This is playing off your mare’s name of Baylie. Which made me think of Bailey’s Irish Cream. So I looked up boys names that begin with “o” and lo and behold I found this Irish name:

Oulkowhallic

Which means life of the party. It’s kinda maybe not the best name…in my mind I am pronouncing it as “Alcoholic.” But as booze-related terminology (if it’s pronounced that way) it goes with the Bailey’s Irish Cream link, and the colt’s barn name could be Al. And Al is an awesome name.

You have to excuse me, I’m running on about 5 hours of sleep for the second night in a row and slaphappy. But I kinda like what I came up with.

Pretty mare, good luck on the foal.
