Cross Post: Any foxhunters feel like trying eventing 5/28? (MD/PE/NJ/DE)

We have a fantastic small unrecognized event that is struggling with extremely low entries.

It’s an awesome facility, the jumps are fun and not trappy. They allow the dressage tests to be read aloud and the water jump and ditch jumps includes options so you can skirt around the “more difficult” stuff that your horses may not want to try to jump.

Really this place is loved by many area eventers and I am at a loss to explain the huge drop in attendance. They have extended their entry deadline til next Monday to help lure people in.

If you’re close to the Eastern Shore of Maryland, please consider it. This is a lot of fun and maybe we could have a little friendly competition between the COTH board members… for bragging rights only!!

Those little fences on the elementary cross country look to be about my speed, but sadly, I still haven’t bought a trailer, so I can’t come. Good luck though!
