Cross Posting - Looking for OTTB Reschoolers/Resellers

This is not an ISO ad, but I’m currently looking for recommendations on where to go to find a youngish (3 to 5) OTTB that is lightly reschooled. I’ve done some searches here, but often the recommended sellers have defunct links on FB or just discontinued websites since they are older posts. Within a reasonable drive from middle TN would be great. I am looking for a sane, sound TB gelding. It doesn’t have to have a lot of reschooling, but I do want one that has been ridden off the track by someone who can assess him better than I can. TIA.

Jess Redman - always has a nice selection. Benchmark Sporthorses

Another vote for Jessica Redman (BenchmarK Sport Horses).

Jess is not exactly a short drive from Middle TN! That said, there are many good sources in the Mid-Atlantic, and it’s worth a drive with trailer in tow.

Thanks all for the recommendation. I am in Delaware so not exactly close but there are a lot of really awesome people that have good Tb’s in the midatlantic area if you chose to make a drive up. There are also lots of great rehoming organizations as well that have good selections and have started their horses.

I do keep my website very current but horses don’t last very long. We generally get a ride or two done before they get sold. Right now all of us in the horse sales business are really struggling to be able to advertise anything due to facebook. Facebook was always the go to place to network but now with the new rules against any sort of animal sales we are all in facebook jail

^^^^ I’m seriously considering making the trip to DE. I’ve heard nothing but good things. (I have a sister-in-law who lives in Wilmington.)

Amy Paulus is in northern KY, I believe. She facilitates a lot of direct-from-track sales but also sells some from her farm.

Try New Vocations. Depends on which location but in general they are selective in what they take on, honest and have an exchange policy if there are problems. Worth taking a peek at their websites, have a couple of Pro friends who have snagged some good ones out of their program.
