Yeah, that’s just the tip of the iceberg. I didn’t even need to go through a year of her ideological flatulence to get an inkling of how off she is. I wouldn’t be surprised if she relocates to Florida if/when this mess she’s in gets taken care of.

I deleted her on Facebook so I haven’t seen the posts. I’m not sure I want to know.
I just got to the end of the public discussions on Facebook and there aren’t - surprisingly - very many of them going on, only a handful that come up. I’m sure there must be more going on in private.
I did see several judges defending her. (Posts since deleted) and a post from the owner of a prominent farm in the Fredericksburg area. (That post has since been deleted as well)
Well, be sure to take notes. The more cover-up and support for her can be exposed, the better. Don’t antagonize anyone, but keep a tally, so the Kool-Aid drinkers and pushers can be taken to task down the line. Sooner or later, those people will see their lines and influence ending and better people will have a chance to step in and step up.

I went over the public discussions again and I didn’t see any sign of support posts there, so it must be happening in the group and personal pages that are otherwise private.

That’s what I figured, cause most of what I’m seeing in the public discussions is from people who found out via word of mouth on Facebook and people are mostly asking questions or raring to send out letters to the authorities in Virginia.

I don’t follow how amateurs being in programs with trainers relates to this particular person having lots of connections and those connections making a victim feel disinclined to share her experience. Isn’t the more accurate takeaway that people with connections can use them to get away with really insidious crap?

And to go with what @vxf111 said so well. This is not a trainer starving a training client’s horse situation. These are retirement horses being not fed.
The blessing here is that she finally did this in a way that it is much harder for people to ignore. Hopefully something will come of this.
