Crudo

Thought I would give him his own thread since traffic is usually light on here. Anyway, the Sir Barton stakes was on the Preakness undercard and if you did not see this race you will enjoy watching this late blooming colt.

Not just because of his blowout win, he galloped out looking for more and strutting like a peacock…as did Journalism. Couple of class racehorses there, hope they stay healthy and happy, could watch them move all day. Gorgeous.

Really like Crudo. He’s a late bloomer of his foal crop, lightly raced. But he loves to run, flicking those ears up as he goes. Track seemed deep on Saturday too and he made plenty of work of it. Think he will have a big summer at Saratoga

That didn’t seem like much of an effort to win, he definitely out classed the field today!

I was rooting for Just a Fair Shake. He really tired at the end.

All Johnny V had to do was wave the floppy nerf stick in his right hand about 3 times as he sat down and let him open up at the head of the stretch.

There was a split second of hesitation from him, with only 2 MSW starts, probably never saw and heard more than a handful of people. First look and listen to a big crowd. Certainly unlikely to be his last, fingers crossed.
