The SmartVite Thrive is one tiny supplement scoop per day, which surprised me since I’m used to ration balancer quantity. I bought a bucket only because I had a 20% coupon code and their Wizard thingy kept suggesting it. My gelding has been on a limited diet to keep weight in check for years (got him as a long yearling,) and I have never seen him this perky and shiny. I know green grass is contributing, but the change in his overall demeanor was much more dramatic than just his usual spring-grass-happy. Of course, YMMV with your horse in your location. And for all I know, my horse could back to his former a-hole personality tomorrow. But right now, I’m stupid excited.
For my IR draftcross guy I use MVP mega-cell, Remission, and a vitamin E supplement with around a half quart soaked unmolassed beetpulp & a cup of alfalfa pellets. Oh and a tablespoon salt or else he’ll chew a saltblock to bits in a day.
