I know nothing about this particular OTTB flipper but I have learned to spot a train wreck a long way out

Given that this thread is going off I thought I’d share as someone that has bought three horses from Crysta. Three separate occasions of zero problems through her program. Two horses bought sight unseen. Both were exactly as presented for both the good parts of the horse and any quirks they may have. Through the ten years of knowing her, I have had to sell two of those horses I spoke about. Both were properly marketed and sold. And the agreements fulfilled from both parties. I currently have a young horse growing up at her property until she’s old enough to be worked with more. I don’t live in state currently and I get nearly weekly updates. And I get zero hesitation from her whenever I ask for more. I have watched her sell horses all over the USA and Canada with happy buyers and frequent updates updates years after they arrived at their new homes. I currently get frequent updates from the new owners of the horses she sold for me. Despite it being years ago. And I’ll continue to buy horses from her if the need arrises due to her always being honest about the horses, the good and bad. I was not surprised by anything that she could have known about when I purchased any horse through her.

Do more house guests make it better or worse? I can never remember the correct ratio of houseguest : trainwreck…

I think at two, it definitely tips the scales into ludicrously unbelievable

You expect me to remember the name of a horse that I tried once about 10 years ago? It was a dark bay gelding, that’s all I remember about his looks. I do clearly remember when I was watching him go that he seemed NQR on his right hind and commented on it to you. I don’t recall your response and the horse seemed to work out of it so just chalked it up to general stiffness. However, when the PPE revealed a major right hind leg issue it made me think things were not as they seemed. Suggesting the horse may have been buted is not slander.

Could someone please bring in the folding chairs from the patio? It’s getting crowded in here.

I am so sorry, but the patio chairs are safely stored in the basement.
