Any suggestions on custom barn builders for Northern Virginia? I am familiar with Miller Brothers and King but any other suggestions? Looking to build a 7 stall barn, ring, and potentially an apartment/housing.
Thanks!

Fuog in Purcellville.
Fuog? Really? I had heard some bad things about them but it was about 10 years ago. Do you have a good experience with them?
Calvert Clarke - 240-281-5168
He builds barns and homes.
I would get quotes from at least 3 companies. Prices can range a lot for comparable work.
Definitely contact K&M Barns out of Boyce. They just finished a complete renovation on a neighbors barn, but I’ve seen some of their ‘from scratch’ building and it’s gorgeous. They build a lot on the area so you should be able to go and see some of the construction in person.
Great, thanks for the suggestions! I will check them out. I agree, I want to get multiple bids. This won’t be a small project.
BarbaricY- Just sent K&M an email! Thanks!
Yankee - I will contact them a little later. Don’t want to call too early. Thanks!

Sure. Also, you probably know this, but be sure your bids include estimates for any site work / electricity / water and interior finishing, etc that you need for the barn, because that can easily equal the cost of the barn building itself. Some builders include everything, while others just quote the bare bones structure, making it difficult to compare competing bids. Good luck!
Yep I have seen that. I have Monomoy who has done site work in the past for us ready to bid on site work that the builder doesn’t include. We may need a road done as well and that is something that they have bid on with us in the past. They did a second well for us a few years ago as well. Thanks!
Love monomoy! I was going to recommend then if you needed excavation stuff separately. They are doing a project for me also.
My neighbor has used Fuog several times for major barn renovations and barn additions. She has been happy with them. I used my general contractor, Preferred General Contracting, for barn renovation. He did a good job. I know he has built a few barns in the past, but primarily does major home renovations.
