Custom boots advice

I’m ready to invest in some good boots, my current UK leather ones are 15 years on me, and I bought them used. It’s time.
Hoping to get advice on the better brands you would have me consider. My priorities are -

• a great fit, comfortable fit.
• a great feel with the horse, supple ankle, and light inner side(s) to the boots.
• clean toe / cap toe more classic black, dress boots (not dressage, field or hunt)
• price -$900 - $1300
• USA or UK is ok.
• pretty sure zippers are going to be better in long run.

Do you have advice on Dehner, Vogel or Horace Batten UK??
I’m male, older, size 11 mens’, nothing too decorative. Classic is best for me.

I had Dehner’s back in the 70’s (before zippers)–comfortable and wore like iron.
