Custom Bridle

Hello everyone,
Best custom or semi-custom bridle? Horse has a horse size forehead and cob size nose.
Thanks.

Tried ordering from those FB companies to save money and was all wrong. Not worthy the money.

I ordered one from Bridle2Fit about 2 months ago. LOVE it. Pieces are individually selected. Leather quality is fantastic. Just beautifully made and the reins feel like butter.

I got a custom sized PS of Sweden from Bossy Bridle. It’s cob, horse, and oversize in different places.

I have heard really good things about Solo Equine, although no first hand experience. Also Epona.

I would not recommend Eponia if you need different sized pieces. I tried and tried to get a cob sized noseband for my full size bride. After being sent the wrong noseband twice and the wrong reins twice I gave up. They refunded everything but it was a pain in the bum and quite honestly stupid.

PS of Sweden for my fjord, who in true fjord tradition, uses ALL the sizes

I second Bridle2Fit.

I love my BlackJak Refinery bridles, though they are my show bridles so I have only used one of them and only three times. The first time I used it, I hadn’t cleaned/conditioned it, and I was concerned about the quality of the leather. Once I lightly conditioned it, I was very pleased with the quality. Which is a good thing because I’ve managed to accumulate five of her browbands. I think the bridles are a very good value.

Thanks everyone. I think I will try bridle2fit. I’ll let you know.
Thanks for the helpful replies.

I have two B2F bridles. Both are snaffles - one is a drop and the other a flash. Overall the bridles are beautifully made. Overall they are an excellent value given the gobsmacking prices on quality bridles these days. However, I do have a teeny first world problem with the drop. Both bridles are rolled on the cheeks and noseband, and on the drop I have rolled reins. Whoever made them did not sew the reins for the rolled part straight, so when you are on the horse it always feels like one of the reins is twisted. Frankly it irritates the crap out of me. The drop is also technically a crank drop, so IMO it can be quite severe if over tightened. I have decided to sell it, as my boy is pretty sensitive and it’s just too much for him. He goes beautifully in the flash. Both bridles are absolutely gorgeous to look at. I got standard hand stop padded calfskin reins on the flash instead of the rolled ones and I absolutely love them. They are calfskin, but are thickly padded and are just fantastic. I highly recommend them.
