To clear the air:

The coat in question was listed as a “men’s cubbing coat” by the tack shop in Ohio who had it. Ergo, I used that terminology in my original post.

“Cubbing” as a shorthand for cub hunting appears to be quite common, and is a term used on many hunt web sites, including that of the hunt you will be visiting ManyDogs, so you shouldn’t worry too much about it
