I have a really hard time getting off the rack coats to fit well, even with tailoring. Any suggestions of custom coat companies? Thanks in advance!
If you can get to a show where Charles Ancona is, I’d highly recommend it! I love my coat, and he had to do some slight tweaks to the off the rack fit. He was great to work with.
Valencia Sport Saddlery in Southern California has their own custom line of hunt coats (Habit), and they are absolutely gorgeous (the shirts are too)! Their website is www.valenciasaddlery.com, but I’m not sure they are really shown on the website, you will probably have to call.

a third for Habit. Honestly, the coats are beautiful, they are so well made, and they breathe. I’m 6’ tall with broad shoulders but a very narrow trunk and custom is basically my only option. Really worth pursuing.
