These don’t look terribly different from the hunt coats that were very common in the 60s and 70s. If they are in more modern/stretchy fabrics, I would 200% wear them in the rated hunters and do my darndest to bring them back into style. Black, dark navy blue, and dark green are great and all, but you can still be traditional and wear some color variety. I’m not a fan of some of the garishly bright colors I see in the jumper rings sometimes, but these are just lovely.
Its beautiful, but too nice to let dogs slobber on it!
But it has a bow! And it’s pretty! And after all, is dog slobber on a Lady Dress really any worse than horse boogies snorted onto an expensive hunt coat?
And actually my trim fabric is going to be fushia with white polka dots!
Cannot wait to see it. And your Corgi is adorable!
Where are you from? I’m in Tucson, AZ. This is my first show dog. It’s a little frustrating. We haven’t gotten any points yet showing. Everyone tells me, “politics.” But it is fun.
Further away in Ohio, ha. Glad you’re having such a good time! I don’t do the breed ring, but we have fun going to Cardi Nationals when they’re nearby.
I think Nationals is going to be in either OH or PA this year. Lucky you! Even when they’re in Missouri, it’s too far for me. I hate driving. Maybe I’ll try to drive to MO in 2023 if I have a travelling companion. I just don’t think my girls will be competitive enough either. Talk about politics!
I also hear his custom boots are amazing and I sent him a PM about that!
