I have seen his work and plaudits on Facebook, but was wondering if anyone here has anything from him. I am getting this suit below for dog showing and plan to get a hunt coat soon.

Oops the second one wasn’t a hunt coat.
Have to say, these look a lot like the styles sold by vendors at breed shows. The velvet collars, the piping and the flashy buttons are all the rage. And now that I’m immersed in Paints, I gotta say I’m kinda lovin’ the gray one with the subtle windowpane plaid… 
Are they made-to-order? Or standard sizing with a size chart?
They are made to order. And you can have them made plain for the h/j world.
Does he do work with tech fabrics (washable jackets)?
I think I’ve seen him post a bit in some FB groups–some beautiful coats!
The dog show outfit with the bow is lovely! Makes me want to show dogs just so I could wear it!

I don’t know about tech fabrics. Some of them are stretchy though
So how does it work? Does he send swatches? I assume you have yourself measured by a local tailor?
He doesn’t send swatches, but has pictures of them. Yes, a local seamstress or tailor will need to do the measurements. I’m hoping it all works!

What’s the approximate turnaround time? How do you pay securely? And what’s the basic price for an English show coat with piping and a fancy lapel?
Can you tell I’m more than mildly interested? 
But I’m going to let you go first. Can’t wait to see how the entire process turns out!
I’m not sure of the turnaround time, but I think I’ve heard it’s reasonably quick for custom work.
I believe a custom show coat is $150 base.
They do look like breed show jackets, but I’m sure you could tone it down a bit.

I’d be embarrassed to say how much I paid for an off-the-rack, so-called “designer” hunt coat from a breed show vendor. A whole lot more than $150, unfortunately.
I’ve seen a few Facebook friends with jackets from him.
They look lovely and well made, especially for the price! I can’t say anything about how long they last but most people I’ve spoken to are happy with them. I’ve been thinking of ordering one for ages, but need to drop some post surgery weight first.

wait wait wait, you have cardis? We have probably crossed paths. Mine aren’t in the breed ring, but since one is a retired (failed) show dog, I am still on excellent terms with their breeder and handler.
