This might be a redundant question, so I beg your indulgence. I need a dressage saddle, really love those Custom Advantage Monoflaps, [edit]. Does anybody know of good place where to find a demo or used one?

Most of the Custom reps carry demos or you can search the usual places (FB tack trading groups, Ebay, etc) for used ones. Shouldnāt be too hard to find. Happy shopping!
Make sure you horse is not short backed or where the 18th rib is make sure the saddle doesnāt sit on it. I loved the custom saddles but my horse doesnāt fit in one due to that issue, so I would definitely ride him in one first.
My saddle fitter carries them and other lines so she has nothing to lose being truthful that the custom saddles are too long for my horseās back. I rode him in them and he was Not happy and kept hollowing his back.
Just an FYI and not knocking the saddles.

You may end up being sorry you found out about those - they can be addicting!! But there is English Tack Trader, Dressage Tack and Clothing Swap, Dressage Tack/Horse Sales, Tack Hoardersā¦ and many others. Enjoy!

I just bought a Wolfgang Constanze, it can be had w/ the shorter panel, necessary for my short backed horse. Iām loving it.
My horse also had a short back. The Custom Laguna worked really well for him. It was a āused demoā meaning someone had used it while her saddle was being made, so I got a really good deal on it. They donāt make this model anymore, which is too bad. I suppose your size will go into the equation. I ride in a 17.5". If I were taller or bigger this saddle may not have worked for us.
Custom also has a great program where if you buy a saddle from them (a rep) you can trade it back in within the first five years of the saddleās age. They will apply the full purchase price towards your new saddle. Unfortunately, this is going to work well for me as sadly I lost my horse three weeks ago, and Iām sure the next will not fit in his saddle. That would be too easy.
I work with several short backed PRE horses that go very well in custom saddles. I like their monoflaps very much.
I think some of the best deals are from brand reps or saddle fitters At least then you donāt have to worry about a broken tree or die me hidden defect in a used saddle
I ordered a Custom Advantage monoflap this spring (18.5) and LOVE it! The rep here in GA had a demo traditional flap that I rode in while waiting for mine to arrive. Track down your local repāthey will ātradeā saddles with other reps to try to find a used/demo version for you to buy. Good luck!
I just received my Everest Monoflap. I have a short coupled, 15H Morgan and my seat is 18". Fits him super!! Have fun shopping!
