Custom Tack Trunk Cover

I am in search of a custom tack trunk cover. I had one made by Dover and I was quite happy with it but it recently got damaged. I would re-buy from Dover but it was quite pricey due to being fully custom sizing and I’m hoping to find a better price elsewhere. My sweet hubby made my trunk so none of the off the track covers will fit it. I tried comparing the specs to all the trunks on Smartpak and Dover and none will work unfortunately.

I am wanting a gray cover, monogram and piping would be nice but not essential. My current fabric is Sunbrella which I like because it’s proven to be quite hardy, so I’d like something with similar stuffiness.

Does this unicorn trunk cover exist for under $250???

Smartpak does offer custom sizing. I actually started playing with an order and in the customization area you enter your own measurements.

I just ordered one from http://www.rideeverystride.com/ and am very happy with it. Much less expensive than Smartpak or Dover for fully custom, and it turned out great.

No zipper (hate zippers because people end up leaving them unzipped at shows and it looks sloppy in the aisle), padded top, monogram, and not sure of the fabric but it’s waterproof.

I second The Clothes Horse! Had a custom cover made (zipper, padded top, trim & piping, custom embroidery) a few years ago for (I think) around $200. They had a handy diagram for odd-ball sized trunks of exactly which measurements to make. Excellent customer service; offered to send me swatches if I’d wanted them. Loved it when it arrived!

I also got a cover made up by Clothes Horse last year. It has piping, trim and I got my last name monogrammed on it. For a medium trunk I got it for around $190. It’s my second cover by them, they hold up well and look great on the trunks.
