Has anyone ever used A.M.Kroop and Sons Inc out of Maryland for custom boots? If so, what were you thoughts/ opinions?
I don’t have their custom tall boots, but I’ve worn their paddock boots for ages and LOVE THEM. I wish I could put the foot of those boots on my (non-custom, different brand) tall boots.
40 years ago I used to get custom galloping boots from them. They were fantastic. I didn’t know Kroop was still in existence!!
They sure are ! I haven’t been very happy with my LaMundials so I thought I would look into this company.

They are popular with jockeys and foxhunters around the DMV. Picky people that really use their gear, so that’s a good enough recommendation for me 
I’ve had my Kroop’s custom field boots for a year and love 'em. They were ready four weeks after I ordered. They fit well and are attractive, were immediately comfortable to ride in, and are holding up well. I picked them up on a Friday, schooled in them at home, and showed in them the next day. I could get them on by myself from the get-go, but for the first couple weeks, getting them off I needed other folks to pull.
I have two pairs of their dressage boots. Lovely and comfortable from day one.

Kroop boots are beautiful and the service is excellent. They go above and beyond. I don’t think you will be disappointed.
