Halp me decode this jibberish! Only thing i see is 2017 year. I would like to sell my saddle to make room (and money) for my new one. Any tricks in listing/selling a used saddle in all of the very crowded FB groups? Thanks all!
Apparently on saddles newer than 2006 the first line indicates the seat type, seat size, flap length and style. The second line indicates the panelling, while the third line is the year of manufacture and serial number. I don’t know what GV and NRI are though?
SE02 = Model
2017 = Year of manufacture
03 = Flap length (medium flap)
C = more forward angle flap
SEO2 - Semi Deep, Classic Model
055105 - Likely Serial (can confirm under flap)
2017 - Manufacture
180 - 18" Seat
3C - Size 3 Flap, Forward
GV - Grain Calf
C & NRI - I can’t remember
Usually the random letters towards the end have to do with knee padding, front and back block size. I can’t remember what C meant but I know its for all that. I don’t recognize NRI.
A lot of time panel is on the invoice, so curious what yours says under the flap.
Thinking it could just be a ST.
I’n going to assume it says SE02 at the front, just because the serial number from the invoice but thats the only part I can’t read.
180 - 18" Seat
TR - Half Deep Model (SE02)
3C - Foward Flap, Size 3
PL - WIDE Twist
PA ST - Standard Panel
17 - Manufacture Year
55105 - Manufacturing Serial
32193 - Secondary Serial when the saddle entered back into CWD’s SO program at some point. Which explains why your invoice doesn’t have all the ordering info on it. Could also explain the NRI thing, but again I’ve never seen that before.
