cwd panel code

Can someone tell me what all means?
SE01 170 TC 2L
PA 705 205 305 RT
13 20667

SE01 = seat - one of the flatter ones
170 TC - I believe this is your tree configuration. I don’t know which tree that is though
2L = flap configuration - length 2, shape L aka straight
PA 705 205 305 = panel configuration - this is close to a pro panel, a little narrower through the shoulder
13 = year of manufacture (2013)
20667 = serial number(?)

So would a 710 be wider in the shoulders?

I am not sure what the panel codes mean however I DO know that the RT panel is specifically designed for wide shoulders. Also the 170 TC is the seat size and flatness. it is a 17" seat. I do not know what the TC is though doing some googling looks like its the flat seat.

Those are pro panel configuration. 710 would have more lift in the shoulder. RT+ would have more room for the scapula.

Thats the flat seat (but not flattest seat, which is the news SE03), 17" I think TC has to do with the twist and is the more common setup. 2L is average length straight flap.

Flat-ish seat (flatter than SE02, less flat than SE03), 17", 2L flap, which is basically a regular flap. TC is older nomenclature that isn’t really used any longer, but it’s another way of saying SE01.

705 205 305 is the “Pro Panel” configuration, RT means there is some additional thinning of the panel to accommodate the movement of the scapula. 705 is the front (shoulder) of the panel, and the numbers are a bit different here than the rest of the panel. A 705 panel means 5mm of foam has been removed, but 205 and 305 mean foam has been added in those regions. So a 710 would be wider in the front, and a 700 would be narrower, but a 200 and 300 would be more roomy in those respective areas and a 210 and 310, respectively, less so. 305 is in the rear of the panel, and 205 is near the withers, I think. This is all information from CWD (with the exception of my uncertainty regarding what region exactly 205 refers to).

2013 model, saddle #20667

ETA - My CWD was a 710 205 305, and it was wider in the shoulder than a 705. I also rode in a 315, which was definitely built up in the rear. The only notation I’ve ever seen for the twist is “PL,” which is a lowered pommel and wider twist.

Since it looks like a lot of posters on this post are good at explaining CWD codes, can you decipher this one for me?

SE25 S2 TR 3C
PA 710 210 310 810 RT

Thank you!!:slight_smile:

Bumping this because there’s a CWD for a steal on Craigslist and I’m thinking this may work for a tall rider I know is looking. She is horseless and rides whatever she’s given, but is super long-legged, so needs something like a pro panel.

codes:
SE02 180 TR 4F
PA RT

I know this is an 18” semi-deep seat. The rest I need help with. RT means shoulder room, right?

St is standard panel
RT is more room in the scapula for wider shoulders

i have never seen 4F. 4 is for the length (much longer than the standard 2) and F is the shape. For example L is standard, C is more forward, B is between L and C. But I am not sure about F.

I think that’s a super long super forward flap. If the rider is quite long in the femur or would be riding with a short-ish stirrup that could work.

She rides jumpers, so maybe. I texted the local rep to ask her, but haven’t heard back. It would be a great deal for this girl if it fits her.
