CWD Stamp Clarification

Looking at a CWD and looking for help reading the stamp. I know what my horse needs per the rep but I cannot remember what the specific numbers mean.

SE01 17 TC 3L (i know what this line means & is exactly what im looking for)
PA 705 310 RT (this is what idk)

Thank you

PA refers to the panels, the numbers are how thick they are. If you call CWD in California they will tell you what type of panels that particular saddle has.

thank you!

PA = “panel designation”
705 = 5mm of foam was removed from the shoulder area
310 = 10mm of foam was removed from the cantle area
RT = indicated the panel has been “shaved” down for the scapula

705/RT is right, however a 310 is 10mm of foam ADDED to the back, not removed.

could anyone decode : PA 210 305 RT

RT = sculpting of the panel to accommodate the scapula
210 = 10mm foam added to panel to provide wither clearance
305 = 5mm foam added to the panel in the rear

Thank you so much!

Thank you so much!!! I am trying to find a used CWD and these are all greek to me! My horse goes super well in my old CWD but unfortunately its too small for me! the above was the one she has… the one I want to take on trial is :

PA 705 205, so it wouldnt have that scapula freedom I am going to assume?

705 = 5mm foam removed from the shoulder area (this is a very common CWD panel modification)
205 = 5mm foam added in that region of the panel

So it will have more room for the shoulder, but not necessarily the scapula-specific sculpting… which your horse may or may not actually need. But check with a rep on this, because the RT can also be done as RT+ or RT++, which extends the sculpted area and changes the shape of the panel, making it either more curved or more flat overall.

Remember, you can always have the panels on a CWD changed.
