Hi, i have a CWD saddle which its stamp code is partially rubbed off due to normal day to day wear. Does CWD ever “restamp” the code for you to make it legible again?
I don’t know if they will do it, but I have had CWD restamp a saddle they changed the panels on. So capable of doing that but I have no idea if it’s possible. You would have to go through a rep to send it in any event, so start there.
OR, if the serial number is legible, CWD can certainly look it up.
They will restamp it, they just might try and charge you a small fee or something and you’ll have to ship it to FL.
They used to send us down the road with a stamp kit. So if your rep is older from the company, they might have one handy in their car.
Also at big shows they usually have set ups that have minor repair stuff and stamping kits.
