CWD Tendon & Fetlock Boots (Questions)

I was wondering if anybody who currently owns or has tried the CWD boots could give a review on them; what they like/don’t like, how they wear, and the style that you chose etc.

I’m looking to pick a pair that I could use every so often while schooling at home but are also appropriate for showing.

I am caught between:

Velcro Tendon & Fetlock Boots in Dark Brown
Buckle Tendon & Fetlock Boots with Calfskin lining in Dark Brown
or
Buckle Tendon & Fetlock w/o calfskin lining in Dark Brown

Hope to hear from y’all! (:

I have the buckle tendon and fetlock with calfskin lining. I didnt choose the velco because i thought dirt would get caught up in it. I have them in brown and black…and I do jumpers. All of my tack is CWD and they look very classy:) worth a buy, last forever, and wash up nice.

I found that the velcro ones started to rub the horses we used them on. I’v only used the buckle ones on one horse, but I think they’re quite nice. Although if I remember correctly, the back boots ran pretty large.

The leather ones with buckles? They’re the same ones as the Thinline/made by Thinline for CWD. They are very pretty. They did not, IMHO, wear the way I’d expect something of that price to wear. The straps on mine started to look sad and stretch out pretty quickly. The liners also started to show wear pretty quickly (but they’re replaceable). Pretty boots, not nearly as durable as I’d hoped. In the future, I probably would not buy them for retail price.
