D-Braider Alternative?

I’ve been using a “D-Braider” to remove show braids for years, and would like to purchase another. I cannot be trusted with seam ripper, and have a nice scar to prove it. :woman_facepalming:

Unfortunately the D-Braider appears to have been discontinued. Any alternatives? Is there another name for this?

Thanks! Both of these seem a bit bulky for working with small, sewn-in braids. They are pretty inexpensive though, so maybe work a try.

I found this brand new one in my braiding supplies box. If you want to PM me an address I will mail it to you. No charge. My braiding days are done.

Suture scissors

You should be able to find something similar in craft stores. I got a couple pairs in my local craft store for removing stitches from cattle. The craft ones are smaller than legit suture scissors so you can be even more careful to hook only the thread and not a single hair.
