SOOOOOOOOOOOO not looking forward to this and just want my first show season to be over! It’s exhausting! At least this one is a “hometown” one for me! 
Diva has been weaned for just a little over 2 weeks and doing well, but is butt high and a little fuzzy, and the movement is just not really there…so I don’t expect much! Just experience and fun and no matter what I love Devon. Growing up locally it just is the best thing for me to experience. This will be my first time showing there so it’s a little strange!
Oh, I miss the days of Rocher being there!?!?! Anyone else?
Dilema maybe one of you can help
I will be there as usual and can’t wait to see some of you that I only get to see once or twice a year.
Here’s my problem…I am going to the midtest of the 100 days testing in Ohio. I am leaving on the friday before Devon and taking Scimitar and a 3 year old son to ride both in the following Heike Kemmer clinic. The mid test is on the saturday and the symposium with HK is on the sunday and monday. I am going to leave directly after my last ride and drive straight through to Devon to be there to ride and run on the tuesday (I should arrive somewhere in the middle of the night). I need somewhere to stuff two horses for the night as close to the showgrounds as possible. My friend Retta will be able to drive them the rest of the way home on the tuesday and I will stay on through thursday (come to think of it…I am not sure how I am going to get home as I won’t have a vehicle but, I will cross that bridge when I come to it).
I talked to Lorik and if I stable them on the showgrounds I have to pay stabling plus $150 non competing horse fee for each which just seems ridiculous. SO…anyone have or know of someone with a barn that could be a bed and breakfast for two big warmbloods, one a stallion?
Any and all help would be appreciated.

I was browsing online and I saw on http://www.dressageclinic.com/ that it says “watch all international riders & breeding classes on DressageClinic.com.” Does anybody know if that mean that they’ll have all of the breed classes? Is this the first year that they’re doing it?
Yes, this is the first year they’re doing this. We’ll have to see how it works out.

Was going to bring Nautika, to do 4th level, but at the last minute our ride up to PA disappeared… boohoo… So, we will plan on coming next year and doing PSG instead. I’ve brought several to the breed show, but never to the dressage show. This will be fun. Good luck everyone!!! See ya next year.

Omom I will miss you! I am going up Weds. with a young Lipizzan stallion and will be there until Thursday - running three lipizzans - and braiding of course. Should be very busy. I have an event to run training on Sat. following, too! Sorry won’t see you. Sigh.

Staying at my mom’s who lives 20 mins away (makes me wish I lived right down the street from Devon again!) THOSE were the days! Anyway, I’d love to join in the Devon festivities!

Will only be staying the one night, I just think this is going to be so much to handle for Diva or my little “drama queen” as we have recently been calling her! Only being weaned a month, getting that weanling belly and just all and all looking very much like a weanling in the field (she’s living with a pony!)

Also, saw the dressageclinic thing…do you have to be a member to view all the videos etc? I’m ASSUMING so, but…??? Also are they doing them LIVE or as an after Devon viewing thing.

Joey is in three classes, Tchula in two classes. They all leave tomorrow around 11:00 (probably a little before.) and I need to stop and buy limes and tonic water. Is anyone bringing the Gin? or…should I stop and get GIN and one of you other clowns can pick up the limes and tonic?

Poor envant-I am exhausted just reading what you have to get done and the miles you have to travel before you show up at Devon! (Any chance Hilltop would have any room for you as they may be somewhat emptied out for Devon?)
