Hi everyone. Has anyone seen Dakota VDL or any of his prodigy? What do they tend to be aimed towards? Of course jumpers, but I’ve heard he has been producing some nice hunters. I have a 15yo Cassini II holsteiner mare who needs some refinement and “go”. She tends to throw tall, and I myself am kinda short, so I’m looking for a stallion that produces ammy friendly kids (preferably) within the 16hh range. Looking to produce an ammy friendly 1.20m horse who could dabble in dressage.
I have one. She’s out of an Iroko mare who is hot hot hot. She is not hot. Jumps freakishly well. She’s very careful. Taking it slow because of that. She can go either way. Very rhythmical so we are starting in the hunter ring. She will never win a hack but I’ve had dressage people ooh and aah over her. I think movement is from the mother line.
Honestly i find it hard to say which side gave her what qualities but she is beautiful and athletic.
