Daniel Sarango and Chatsworth Stud recommendation/reviews?

Looking at possibly moving my horse to board there and maybe take lessons/show with Daniel. It’s been very hard finding online reviews, although he seems well liked. I’m trying to keep this vague, but it would be for a student showing recognized and ready to move up to Novice with a possible goal of young riders in the next 4-5 years. Just looking for options in this area as it seems very limited. Or any other options in the Chattanooga, TN/Northwest GA area? Moving in to the area so not positive on exact location but it can’t be Atlanta, that’s too far from where the job is located. Would consider boarding and trailering our for lessons if needed.

I have no input, but there are several great programs for Young Riders with serious goals in Newnan, GA. Area III YR coach Julie Richards and Jade Anderson who had a student go to YRs this year are in Newnan. Both would be worth the drive to haul-in to for lessons. Lauren Eckardt is also north of the city. Lots of great pros in the area. (Definitely suggest reaching out to one of the three if you have their contact and ask if you are looking for someone further north.) If you are actually living in Chattanooga, Alex Green is about an hour north in Loudon, TN

Thanks! My dilemma is that to move up there needs to be more riding done every day and with the current commute to the barn that is ridiculously hard. Daniel would be around 30 mins from us which is the closest facility that I’ve found that looks to be reputable. I’m fine staying at a barn and trailering to lessons if we have to!

Isn’t Elisa Wallace up that way in Jasper. That could be another option? I know nothing personally about Daniel but from following his, very professional, social media he seems diligent, hardworking and like he loves the horses.

Yes, Elisa is in Jasper but that’s still roughly an hour and a half drive from Chattanooga. Just depends on how far you’re willing to go. It’s not a bad drive - I board down the street from her and routinely drive up to the parks around Chattanooga to go trail riding.
