Has anyone had experience with this stallion or his offspring? He is standing in Canada now but I haven’t heard much hype about him. He looks very nice in the photos and videos. His full sister is the dam of Zoom
i had a foal by him this season - in australia - he is not what you call fashionable with the older style look and being a don schufro / brentano ii cross but i wanted a stallion by don schufro out of a brentano mare and there he was
Dannebrog used to be stationed just down the road from the farm where I board my broodmares and foals… so I’ve seen both him and plenty of his offspring. He can throw both big and small and typewise his foals often seem to take after their dams, but he does consistently add rideability, a strong back and three good gaits… We have used him on our Lauries Crusador xx mare and are quite happy with the result, even though she is on the smaller side … here’s a video of her at age 3 just started on the lungeline https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e6wgYotairE She was successfully shown at young dressage horse classes as a 4 year old and is now a broodmare for us… currently in foal to Benicio
