Dark Green Hunt Coats

I saw someone showing in the adult jumpers this summer in a lovely dark green tech fabric hunt coat with a tan collar and piping. I am assuming it was custom.

I don’t like a lot of the technical fabric coats but this one was really lovely.

Does anyone know where I can find a dark green tech fabric hunt coat or anywhere that does custom ones? I really am set on dark green.

I really like the look of some of the RJ classics ones and this looked like one of theirs (two buttons on the back as well) but I haven’t been able to find anything in green or a custom option on their site.

We just bought my sister the hunt coat version. Grand Prix makes them and you can customize the buttons, collars, and piping on many of their coats. Happy hunting, they are gorgeous!

I know Grand Prix does off the rack hunter jackets. I found these, I am not sure if it is exactly what you are looking for, but they do come in green!

Charles Anacona makes the nicest coats and has a lovely custom green, if you don’t get too many bells and whistles it won’t be that expensive

Hadfield’s Hands down

I have the most beautiful coat from Cynthia Munro at Hadfields Saddlery. Yes it was custom but came very promptly and fits like a glove. Also not that much more than buying OTR.

How much are these? we checked out the booth a bit at harrisburg but didn’t see Hprices LOL…

A plain one is around 500 bucks (so pricy but if you’re going for a techlight, I think the CA’s are so much nicer and around the same price) But I got some fancy(ish) options (customization of the collar and pockets, cuffs etc.) and it ran me around $800

I believe they start at 545, but so worth it. They’re gorgeous coats and you can even have a fake sleeve cuff so you can wear a short sleeve shirt.

Well, I don’t know if they are in/out of style or not. Just my farm colors are dark green and white and I have always wanted a coat to match. I’ve had the same (second hand) coat for 10+ years now and now that I can afford one, I want to get what I always wanted!

Thanks for all the info, guys. I’d love to be able to try one on, but don’t make it to any shows where most of these guys are vendors (Hadfields, etc) anymore. Not sure what I’ll end up going for in the end, but I’ll have fun deciding it looks like!
