@Momateur just wanted to say you sound like a good mom in how you’re approaching this. Based only on my own experience, I have to agree that her “I don’t know” amounts to “I’m not so interested” . . . but all kids are different. I definitely remember when my own interest in riding started to wane when I was a teenager. It wasn’t that I cared any less about riding, it was that my parents made it OH SO CLEAR that they would be relieved when I stopped. Anyway, it’s nice that you are making it clear that she has a choice, and that any decision she makes is acceptable to you.

That’s actually a really good suggestion. There IS a pony club in the area, and I forgot about that option. I did a bit of pony club as a kid and loved it. Thanks!
