Decent equestrian/horse-related podcasts?

I see there were some recommendations regarding horse-related podcasts made back in 2019, however, are there any newer programs that have emerged in the last three years that would be worthwhile to listen to?

(I’m specifically interested in general horse-keeping or interviews and content that is a little more general in nature and not entirely discipline-specific, but feel free to recommend whatever).

I really enjoy Big Talk for Breeders.

Looks like Warwick Schiller’s “Journey On” Podcast qualifies, the first episode was Aug 1, 2020

Where is the list from 2019 so we know not to duplicate suggestions?

I love Straight From The Horse Doctor’s Mouth hosted by Erica Lacher DVM, focuses on vet-guided management practices and common or hot-topic diseases. Some of it is more basic stuff that most in horses for any length of time would know, but in depth on the why and how, and many episodes are deep dives in to things like DSLD, sleep disorders, nutrition, hormones, etc.

The Feed room Chemist is a good one. Science based analysis of different supplements, ingredients, micro and macronutrients. Talk about some diseases and feeding protocols, etc.

Horse and Hound Podcast
The Eventing Podcast
The Horse First - Sports Medicine
Heels Down Happy Hour
Dressage Radio Show
USEA Podcast

Even the discipline specific ones have lots of horse care etc chats.

Horse and Hound is really worth a listen.

Good grief, I thought there’d be a handful at most … not 12+! (This just confirms that I do, in fact, live under a rock). Love it, thank you!

Oh my, so many good ones!!

My most recent ongoing list (avoiding those already mentioned):

I’ve enjoyed a number of Major League Eventing podcasts. I remember them as very guest-driven, so it’s not necessarily something I listen for every episode, but the one on Boyd Martin was fantastic, as well as a number of up-and-coming young eventers. Even if you don’t event, I’d definitely suggest giving it a listen, because quite a few of the guests come into eventing from a wide variety of different disciplines.

RideIQ has podcasts too

There are so many! If you download the Horse Radio Network app (or their “all shows” feed from a podcast player), you’ll have access to around 20 podcasts produced by HRN, and there’s at least one that’s updated daily. Some are focused on specific disciplines/content and others are more general- you can look up any show to see its focus. From HRN, my favorites are:
Horses in the Morning (daily, sort of a “morning drive” show focused on the general horseworld)
Stable Scoop
Stall and Stable
Dressage Radio Show
The Humble Hoof
Retired Racehorse Radio
Heels Down Happy Hour
Sport Horse Podcast
A lot of their other options are more focused on equestrian business, which I am not interested in.

I also love Straight from The Horse Doctor’s Mouth.

And a few others in my rotation:
Barn Stories from Equus Magazine
Major League Eventing
The Plaidcast
Happy Trails (slow to update)

Not a podcast, but videos on YouTube. Wendy Murdoch of Surefoot pads has a lot of videos interviewing different horsepeople about many subjects. Makes me realize that there’s not enough time to learn all I want to know.

How could I forget that one! It’s the best one!!!

She’s on the dressage radio podcast regularly too.
