Yes! Always better to pay for a vet and find out it is nothing than to find out later you should have called the vet.

Since I don’t feel as silly today. If your goat has a lump on his jaw, don’t jump straight to CL and an abscess.
Sometimes you just have to take a long metal spoon and get the pocket of cud out that they were saving for a rainy day.

I missed the original post, was glad to see that it was happily resolved, and now laugh to see it involved a goatie. This is good intel since I have a couple of the little devils here constantly stuffing their faces and apparently jaws!
