Romfh Champion is what I would recommend. But I have been very pleased with my Smartpak Hadley breeches, which on the size chart show 8" difference: https://www.smartpakequine.com/pt/ha…ull-seat-14690 They’re on sale right now and free returns so I definitely recommend trying! Note, I personally did not like the fit of Pipers at all but really like these. I also like Ann Taylor’s curvy fit pants and pencil skirts!

Have you tried HOrze Grand Prix? ALso, BUckwild Breeches has a “curvy mare” line. THeir designs are really fun, and hold up well. https://www.buckwildbreeches.com/

FITS are my go to

OK I have some Hadleys in the mail. Will try Horze next. The others are a bit spendy for me, since I prefer to not have to baby them in the laundry. Thank you for all the suggestions!

Another fan of FITS PerforMax full seat breeches here. I’m about 5’4" and weigh about 135 and mediums fit me well with wiggle room. I wait until they go on sale. Horseloverz has two colors, medium blue and dark gray on sale now for $147. I machine wash them on the delicate cycle and use Woolite Extra Delicates laundry detergent.

I’m in the same situation and I’ve been scouting out some Romfh Champions. I do have a pair of Horze Grand Prix breeches that I do like. They are often on sale for 15-20% off so I end up paying around 80€ which is a good price for them.

The Pikeur Lugana breeches also work well for me and I don’t need to wear a belt with them, nor do I experience significant gap at the back as I do with other breeches, but the fabric isn’t my favorite.

The problem is I have a difference between hip and waist, a round bottom, but a short torso. So I want the higher rise but it also really makes me look like I have no upper body when I tuck in my shirt. 1st world problems.

My waist is pretty small but my backside is not so small, so I have always issues with breeches that’s fit in the backside area but loose around the waist. I have found some nice breeches over the years and some new ones. I really like montar (they are usually in sale in a lot of the U.K. online shops) I found that the elt breeches fit super nice and they don’t break the bank. Sam shield is a new one for me and they fit super nicely not the cheapest but they kept me pretty comfortable in the hot weather but wash very well. Spooks also fit very very well.

Interesting about the Montar, I’ve been curious, so maybe I’ll give them a try. I’ve also seen ELT for good prices here. Spooks seem to be more low rise and only with silicone (which I don’t want).

Thanks for the suggestions. Do you have specific models that you like?

Thanks everyone. Added a list of suggestions to the OP.

Another vote for FITS! I am 5’4" w a tiny waist and larger hips and I wear a small. I also like the high waisted Romph.

I have quite a lot of the montar breeches my fav are the I believe called the high waisted soft shell ( they come in full seat and knee) also the Lena Yati are very good they fit like a glove and I even ride a lot bareback in crazy Middle East heat and was them like crazy they have really held up. I usually get them from hope valley saddlery and they usually have something on sale. Got the leopard ones in sale last week.
For the elt I have the fun sport they are really high in the back have then in black, have the micro sport but they are not low low but mid just below my belly button they fit very well just sometimes I prefer the higher waist, I think the one ones I have are denika and also little low but fit amazing hug all the right places, very comfortable.
Those ones are my fav ones, there are a couple more but dont remember the names.

hope it helps

Just checking before I list them on the OP. Do you mean the Isabella from Romfh? Those seem to be their curvey model.

I am 5’10, with a big butt and hips… low rise does not work for me at all.

I love FITS. I love the USG Mary breeches specifically but be careful, their styles do not work for all.

I have the HORZE Desiree and Daniela full seats and I live in them I feel like. I’ve had the Desiree for 3 years and they still look new…

Romfh does well with the Isabella. The champion have cheaper fabric…

I have a pair od Grand Prix full seats that fit me like a glove… I wish they still made breeches.

I do not like the Pipers or Kerrits AT ALL. Cheap feeling and the full seat seam on the pipers feels like I forgot to pull my underwar up LOL

No I do mean the Sarafina. Very comfortable, forgiving full seat breach

Also OP, I assume you meant traditional full seat but thought it worth mentioning silicone seats generally allow for more stretch and may make fitting easier. If you don’t like those, try to find the “less sticky” ones.

Hey there. Thanks for the recommendation, but those breeches you mentioned are for plus size, so too big. I am specially searching for size size curvy fit breeches.
