I would suggest using the band at home and schooling but remove it to show in. He should not get a rub in the 90 secs you are showing.

I would check on this in advance. This would not be permitted on any local circuit I’ve shown on.

You’re going to need to contact the management of the local show and/or any associations with which they’re affiliated.
And keep in mind that, even if they say it’s OK, the judge has the final decision.
