Very nice! Just curious, did they give you any grief about taking pictures at the ring? I had heard that would not be allowed so people would buy pics from the photographer. I plan to buy one or two if they get good shots of my filly but was hoping to have hubby take many more.
Nope, nobody gave me any grief. I’m by no means a pro and my camera if far from pro-gear. I know of several other people just there to watch the show who have nicer equipment and they took pics, too. I didn’t see any signs or anything either. I know a lot of shows of that level have restrictions on pro photographers.
The way they trotted the ponies made it extremely difficult to take any pics… I don’t know if that is by design or not… they trot them along the far rail and the horses are all lined up the length of the ring blocking your view. If you tried to watch from the other side you could a decent photo because the fence is in the way.

I am happy to hear that. Hubby just won a pretty fancy camera from his work so assuming we can figure out how to use it we should get some nice shots. Thanks for the well wishes, I can’t believe there are 22 in my class!
Laurierace - where did you figure out the numbers for your filly’s class? do you know by any chance how many are in the non-tb yearling/colts? i cant seem to find it anywhere but of course thats my luck!
I asked someone with a program to look it up for me. I couldn’t find it online anywhere either. Maybe Virginiabred has a program?
