Devoucoux saddle fit advice

I need some help with a saddle fit. So, I have ridden in a couple of devoucoux biarritz models but all the one’s that I’ve ridden in have had 17.5" seat, and have fit me very well. However, I’ve been on the hunt for a new saddle with a short flap, and most every used devoucoux that I’ve found with a short flap is a 16.5" seat. I have found that I can go in between a 16.5"-17.5" seat, it just depends on the brand. I do want to add some info about me so if anyone could help me out as far as to whether or not I would be able to fit in a 16.5" devoucoux seat. I’m 5’0", 120lbs, with a short femur and short leg and ride with a longer stirrup. So my question is for those of you who have a devoucoux how true to size is the fit, and does anyone think I would be able to make a 16.5" work? Thank you in advance!!

I’m 5’2" and was in a 16.5" CWD. When I switched to a Devoucoux (the Oldara model), I went up to a 17". However, before the 16.5" CWD, I had always been in a 17" saddle (Antares, other CWD). Not sure if that’s at all helpful!

Oh the struggle is real I’m 5’2 and I need a 17-17.5" seat with a 0A flap in a devoucoux which doesn’t exist outside of custom usually. I got lucky thought and found it in a demo model on my monoflap. Although now I need it in a hunter/equitation saddle so…nuts.

I’ve found I can also do a 16.5" in a pinch if I have to. Where are you located? Do you have any access to any big shows that saddle vendors would be at? A devoucoux rep is usually always at the big shows you could see if they’ve got some you could sit in for comparison.
