Did Grey Fox Farm get sold? The Property?

Gray Fox Farm sorry

Or maybe this has been discussed, I haven’t been following lately. Or is this not the correct property, but its the address on the website.

Looks like it…looks a lot better!!

$3200 mortgage on that? wow seems cheap…

I see some of the huge piles of crap in one of the photos. Too bad Jill did not make good use of the inground lap pool. Kinda shocking what you get for almost $900K in CA…that dump in my area would not bring over $200k.

You mean she had all those horses on less than 3 acres?! How could that work?

Somebody gutted that place out and cleaned it up between 9/12 and 5/13, that’s for darned sure. Yes, the prices are shocking. Welcome to CA, although Petaluma is NorCal.

3 acres for all those horses is about a feedlot stocking rate. Not what you are looking for in a premium WB breeding operation, but horses and cattle live like that and do survive.

After looking at the pics again, it looks like someone upgraded the kitchen and the bathroom, cleaned the place up nicely and it sold, PDQ!

I think it looks lovely now! I would love the place and it seems like a steal for that area. I would love to live in the North Bay. I hope the new owner enjoys it and keeps it up a little better

It states that “some photos are virtually staged”. What does that mean? Kind of like how she made it look like her foals grew up in grass pastures?

Whoa, that tidbit was hidden. Hmm…I wonder what it really looks like!

I haven’t been following Grey Fox, but this means that she has taken the remainder of the horses and moved?

can someone point me to the thread that states what happened to RS and the mare that were hospitalized?

This is the old property, before they moved to the one with no house, where they had some horses seized.

Petaluma is one of the nicest places for horsekeeping on the planet, and it’s only about an hour from San Francisco. Even a starter home in Petaluma is pricey.

The house belonged to the bank, not to the the Burnells so if it was sold it was the bank that sold it.

jill lost this place in forclousure a while back so the rumor mill says. she moved to a place out in way west county on unimproved land.

and yes, she had that many horses on that place.

as for prices… yes that is about average for around here! i have been trying to buy a place on a couple acres for a while and unless i am willing to spend close to 850k it just is really hard …

it is heaven on earth here (altho we could use more rain!)

Never mind, didn’t like my post!

Is that mortgage payment not low for that sale price though? I know it was just an estimate but still.

i am sure it doenst include all the “add-ons” like insurance , etc etc.

Jill Burnell was foreclosed on, that is a fact - and yes, she kept all of those horses on that small acreage.

As far as the $3,500 a month mortgage estimate - that is also assuming a down payment of $179,000, plus an additional $550 a month for taxes and insurance - and assuming you qualify for the absolutely lowest rate available.
