I’ll be there Friday for the freestyle and Saturday for the XC…by myself.

I’ll be there for Friday afternoon dressage and the evening freestyle, x/c Saturday and stadium Sunday. Maybe something Friday before the freestyle or Saturday after x/c?
I will also be there Friday for freestyle and would love to meet up (beforehand?) for something.

I am actually meeting up with a friend from 20 years ago for the Freestyle, and am staying with another friend from 20 years ago, but I am traveling on my own and will be on my own for most of the time. I fly out Thursday night, rent a car, and fly back to CA Monday.
I’ll send you a PM. I have been really stressed about finding myself totally alone half the time in such a fun atmosphere!
COTH is going to have a booth there, correct? Maybe we can set a couple of meet-up times at the booth each day over the course of that weekend? Paticularly early on Saturday morning for people who don’t have folks to hang out with on XC day.

In the earlier 'Roll Call 'thread now much farther down, I suggested anyone wanting to meet other COTHers stop by the COTH booth any day at 12:30. A second early morning time would be good also.

I think meeting at the COTH booth sounds like a great idea. Definitely 12:30 on Friday. Maybe 8:00 - 8:30 a.m. on XC day? Or maybe after and we could get dinner? How fun would that be? :yes:
There will be a free XC course walk on Friday (after dressage) with Jimmy Wofford. Might be a great opportunity to multi-task–meet up and soak up JW’s input on the course. :winkgrin: Seeing this tidbit on EN absolutely MADE my day!

Am hoping to do at least part of the JW course walk on Friday, after we meet with a group of current and former (and future?) Palos Verdes dressage people and before the freestyle. Will also be there for cross country and up for meeting either after that or maybe during a lunch break.
IMHO, the logistics will be much simpler meeting at the horse park than someplace off-site.
I’m definitely planning to do the course walk with Wofford on Friday! I’ll be the one with three hyperventilating pony club girls.
We’ve got tickets for dressage freestyle, XC, and eventing stadium.
I wish we had COTH t-shirts or stickers or buttons or something to ID each other.

Is anyone interested in meeting for dinner sometime before the freestyle on Friday? Maybe 5:30ish, of course eating at one of the vendors somewhere in the park?

Well I’m here! I plan to get to the park around 10:00 tomorrow. I was wondering if anyone will be at the COTH booth tomorrow at noon? I’ll be carrying a little back pack with a red “B” (for Boston Red Sox) on it. If you see me please say Hi!
Well, Saturday I will be making a beeline to XC from Louisville airport…but I’ll try to find COTH booth Sunday noonish, before the eventing stadium starts. Sunday night my 3 college roomies will be joining me for the balance of the games. Ladies’ week out.
