difficulty viewing forums

Hi,

I’m having difficulty viewing the forums when I use Mozilla Firefox. Particularly the eventing forum. The green background loads and the top blue box but that’s it. So I think it’s getting stuck on one of the ads.

On the same computer if I use Internet Explorer it’s working just fine.

I use Avast! for virus protection.

Any suggestions how to resolve this?

I think when I’ve had this problem in the past it has to do with the Flashviewer (?) being incompatible with Mozilla. I think if I wait long enough, either the ad goes away or the magic folks at Firefox automatically update my computer.

That’s the best I can come up with, at least!
