The link works now, but I don’t know the symbol
Oh but I am glad to hear the link is working !thank you for letting me know
Is it an E or a Crown?
the older King’s Saddlery logo, IIRC, was a crown - but it doesn’t quite look like that.
Lovatt and Ricketts’ logo has a crown in it - but again doesn’t quite look like that, I don’t think. I can look at my old saddle and check!
As soon as I saw that logo I knew I had seen it here before… check out this thread: http://www.chronofhorse.com/forum/showthread.php?444554-What-brand-saddle-is-this&highlight=saddle+crown+logo
Although the links there no longer work I’m 99% sure it was the exact same logo. Which would make your saddle a Tex Tan Amadeus (made by Stubben for Tex Tan). I’m trying to find another picture of one with the logo to verify…
Yes, here’s a dressage version with the logo on the buttons: http://www.ebay.com/itm/16-1-2-Black-Amadeus-All-Purpose-Saddle-/301885426214?hash=item4649c60a26:g:dwkAAOSwjVVVoyal
I have one I will check it this week when I get over to the studio. Mine is clearly marked on the flap as Tex Tan and Made in Switzerland
viney ridge,it could be both, crown or E lying on its back.
i am following all your leads ,thanks so much !
keep me posted if there are new insights
